Privacy Policy
Introduction and General Rules
At Chodkiewicz & Partners, we respect our clients' time and privacy as much as we respect facts during mediation sessions. The following document explains what happens to your data when you visit our site or contact us regarding disputes within a consortium. Honestly, we do not collect data just for statistics. Every piece of information we receive is used solely to efficiently prepare the architecture of compromise in your project.
The data controller is the Chodkiewicz & Partners team with its registered office at Roosevelta 22 St., 60-829 Poznań. We operate in accordance with GDPR regulations, but above all, we are guided by common sense. Your data is safe with us and will never be sold to third parties for marketing purposes. We treat confidentiality as the foundation of our 8-year practice in mediation.
What data do we collect and why?
When you use the contact form, we ask for your first name, last name, company name, and email address. We need this information to respond to your request within the promised 4.2 business hours. Additionally, we ask for a short description of the project impasse and the number of sides in the dispute. This allows us to pre-assess whether a facilitation session is possible in a given case.
If you use our mediation cost calculator, we process the numbers entered there (hours, rates, number of sides) to generate an estimated cost estimate. These data are not assigned to a specific person until you decide to send them to us along with a request for a 20-minute consultation. Our goal is to provide a specific quote without hidden fees.
Cookies and Server Logs
Our site uses small files called cookies. They help the site function correctly and allow us to check which legal analyses on the blog are of greatest interest. We do not track your private life online. Cookies are only used by us to improve the convenience of using the service, for example by remembering data entered in the calculator during a single session.
The server on which the site is located automatically saves standard logs, such as IP address, browser type, or time of visit. This is a normal technical procedure that allows us to take care of the site's security and prevent hacker attacks. These data are anonymous to us and we do not link them to the specific names of our clients.
Rights of Data Subjects
The rules are simple: you have full control over your data. At any time, you can write to us at biuro@chodkiewicz-wspolnicy.pl to request access to your information, its correction, or total removal from our database. If you have given consent for contact, it can be withdrawn at any time without giving a reason.
You also have the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) if you consider that our procedures violate regulations. However, it is worth contacting us directly first – we usually manage to clarify any doubts within one business day.
Transfer of Data to Third Parties
Your data only go to entities without which we could not work. These include the hosting company serving our email and site, and providers of analytical tools that help us measure the effectiveness of our content. We have signed data processing agreements with each of these partners, which guarantees compliance with security standards.
We do not send data outside the European Economic Area. All information about mediations conducted in Poznań and the surrounding area remains on servers located in the European Union. In the event that a mediation ends with the signing of a settlement protocol, the parties' data are stored in accordance with Polish law requirements regarding the archiving of legal and financial documentation.
